Saturn Sky Performance Parts

Add more horsepower and make your vehicle faster from 0-60 and the quarter mile with Saturn Sky performance parts. Every modification you do to your car will make the it more fun to drive. They can add as little as 1 horsepower or up to hundreds of horsepower depending on what type of upgrade you choose to make. Saturn Sky performance parts such as chips can be installed in minutes and will add horsepower and torque. Performance Pulleys are also a great horsepower upgrade to add to your list of upgrades. Turbo Timers are essential to have for your turbo during summer time weather conditions when your engine can be extremely hot.

We don't expect avid small-roadster enthusiasts to be dissatisfied with the Red Line. The regular Sky is an unique roadster, and putting a turbocharged 260-hp engine under its hood finally meets the promise of its aggressive look. The Red Line's engine hits its powerband at around 4,000 rpm and pulls powerfully up to its redline. We just wish that the redline were just a little bit farther up the tachometer. It seems to be all too easy to hit the rev limiter when pushing the slick -spinning four-cylinder. There are some knocking sounds coming from the driveline when traveling at parking lot speeds, but they vanish quickly once you are on the road.

The suspension is solid, but it delivered a fairly compliant ride on the mostly rough roads we drove. There's not much extra room in the cockpit, but it's not overly tight for its class, either.

The Red Line comes on right about where the regular Sky’s 2.4-liter engine calls it quits, but the turbo motor has less room to run; its redline is 6,300 rpm, versus the regular Sky’s 7,000 rpm. Still, winding out each gear in the Red Line offers fleeting moments of excitement we would take any day over the Sky’s relatively pedestrian driving experience.

Handling and braking remain good— though 260 horses can get you into more trouble than the four-wheel-disc brakes can handle. Installing advanced braking hardware would likely be a sensible investment for Red Line owners who plan on taking their cars to the track. By upgrading your redline with more performance parts, it will be formidable opponent on the streets!
